Rosie at the Range
Well, I decided on a whim to take Rosie up to work with me at the range. She enjoyed sniffing all the new scents and staring at the horses like 'wtf?'. She is also taking to the leash quite nicely. She does seem to have a strong dislike of fire hydrants and similarly sized stumps... I have no idea what that is about. She also wore out on me midway back to the car, so I had to carry her the last half mile (good thing she's so light and delicate, right?). Ah well. On the plus side, she is out like a light and snoring to raise the dead....

Hurricane Rosie
She's settled in nicely and has picked up potty training pretty easily. Today we worked on 'sit' a bit more and I let her drag a leash around for awhile just to get used to it. She's still a bit shy, but is adapting quickly and just LOVES following Sadie around.
C'mon, how can you resist that face?

The Foster Child: Meet Rosie
Rosie is a 3 and a half month old DDB (Dogue de Bordeaux aka French Mastiff). You can read the story of her beginnings at... Rosie's Story She is already around 40 lbs and will be a big girl when she gets done growin... We are currently fostering her for West Coast Mastiff and Large Breed Rescue. Little miss hurricane is already following Sadie around everywhere like a small, hopping shadow. Methinks the household is going to be one big party for the next few weeks.
